Golf Club Dolomiti
There are two golf courses which lie in close proximity to Kaltern town. Petersberg lies at a half an hour driving distance from Kaltern at 1200 m above the sea level. There you will find an 18 hole course. The fairways and greens are mostly surrounded by forest. Low handicap golfers have got to play accurately and defensive in order to achieve a high score. The hole 17 is supposed to be the most impressive of the course because the tee box is located higher and the golf ball has to be hit across an old pond to the green lying behind.
The Dolomiti Golf Club Sarnonico is located right behind the mountain Mendel in the Trentino province. There you will find an 18 hole tournament golf course with an amazing view to the mountain villages close by. This course is challanging for beginners as well as experienced players. On each green in this course you will enjoy stunning views: At hole 12 you will look over the village Cavareno, hole 13 lies above the small community of Sarnoncio and from hole 14 you’ll see the village Fondo.
